UIW accepts students who will enrich and be enriched by a selective liberal arts atmosphere. That same adherence to quality standards is the hallmark of the Universe Online program. Students who are accepted to the program, whether degree or non-degree status, have the right to expect and to receive a superlative educational experience.

We also understand that many people are coming back to school after a period of time and are worried that their previous educational experiences are not of the right level (in terms of GPA).  If this fits you, rest assured that we will give you a chance to prove yourself!

Admission process:

All military branches, except Army students, apply through the Universe Online Portal.

NEW student applicants:

• Fill out and submit your application through the Universe Online Portal. You will receive an email with your usemarne and password to enter the Universe Online Portal.
• Acceptance can take 3-5 business days.

GoArmyEd students apply through http://www.goarmyed.com. If you are an Army student, contact an ACES counselor or the Education Center to assign University of the Incarnate Word as the home institution and make a choice of degree. Once the Universe Online Admission Counselor receives your application, a welcome message is sent to the AKO email with more information.
